The Delhi High Court on Monday directed the Air India management and the
Indian Pilots’ Guild to hold conciliatory proceedings before the Deputy Labour
Commissioner on a day-to-day basis, till the disputes between them regarding
career progression of the pilots and reinstatement of fired pilots are
resolved. Justice Reva Khetrapal passed the direction when counsel for the Pilots’
Guild informed the court that the Air India management wasn’t in a mood to
resolve the issues expeditiously.
